Results for Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) i.e. Class 10 exam has been released online by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) for 2014.
According to the reports in media, out of the total aspirants who sat for the exam, 81.19% of students have cleared it. Around 8.26 lakh candidates appeared for the SSLC Exam. Chikkodi district ranks at the first place among the overall students who have passed the Class 10 examination through KSEEB, followed by Sirsi district at the second place and Belagavi in third place.
The results also depict that girls have outshone the boys once again. Besides, as per the results, 17 schools have recorded zero percent result and 2,023 schools have recorded a cent percent result.
Last year, the results were announced on May 6, 2013 and achieved a total pass percentage of 77.47, an increase of 1.34 percentage points over the year before i.e. 2012. Sudhindra M.S. from Bangalore scored 622 marks out of 625 and bagged the first position.
The results were supposed to be announced on May 10 but later they got postponed to May 12. The results can be checked on the official website, the link for which is given here : http://karresults.nic.in/
