Be focused but have fun too, say CBSE 2014 toppers
Focus and fun, and not long hours of studying, are the secrets behind the high marks scored by some of the CBSE Class 12 toppers this year. Read here the success stories of our students.
“I don’t think studying for 5 or 10 hours a day will give you good marks. It will only give you cervical pain,” said Sarthak Agarwal, who secured 99.6 percent marks, in an interview to a media house.
He also said that he never bothered what others were saying. “I was always focused”.
“I participated in all extra-curricular activities and I had fun too. But yes, I studied too”, said Aastha, who secured 98 percent marks.
“I am a fun-loving person. I am active in sports and co-curricular activities. I used to hang out with friends, listen to music and still all of us in the group scored above 90 per cent,” said Harshita, who got 93.2 percent marks.
“Be focused on concepts and, try to enjoy your studies!” said Akash Kumar Nigam who secured 100 percent marks in Maths.
